Virtual Welfare Assessment Tool
Apart from taking the Operational Accreditation process online, there was a need to have a species / enclosure specific Welfare Assessment tool.This became necessary due to changing permit requirements by various authorities with the movement of wildlife.
Based on lessons learnt from particularly the DZS workshop, PAAZA has created a dedicated online assessment tool which can be used to evaluate specific welfare scenarios. This tool in NO way replaces any aspect of the Operational Accreditation process, but should be seen as a 'value added service' from PAAZA. Details will soon be published on the PAAZA web.
