In a collaborative effort between PAAZA members and SANCCOB to finally prepare the Lesser Flamingos for release back to the wild, qualified staff embarked on a massive washing excercise to ensure that the birds in the quarantine facility are fully waterproof before release.
Council has ratified the implementation of the compulsory PAAZA Operational Accreditation at the May 2018 Annual General Meeting. Institutional members are now required to be compliant with this standard.
